HY3.8FY

YARN

Trilene HY3.8FY is a polypropylene homopolymer for production of stretched tape (yarn or raffia). Also can be used for transparent woven bag which require good clarity and stiffness.  Below are the descriptions :

  • Excellent process ability, consistent denier 
  • Excellent strength, tenacity and % elongation balance 
  • Good clarity and transparency for laminated rice bag 
  • Low water carry over (WCO)

Compliance with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 Clause 1.1

MFR: 3.8 g/10 min 

Density: 0.903 g/cm³ 

Applications: Woven bag, tarpaulin, geotextile rope, carpet backing, strapping band, and drinking straw.
