PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk is continuing its commitment to actively assist the government in handling COVID-19. On 2 July 2020 at the BPBD Cilegon, Banten, the company provided 500 FluQuadri influenza vaccines for medical workers to protect them from the virus transmission. The assistance was delivered through the COVID-19 Task Force of Cilegon City, which will be distributed by the Health Service to all Community Health Centers in the city. These vaccines are expected to increase the immunity of the medical staff who make direct contact with COVID-19 patients.
PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk, as one of the business which actively involved in assisting the government in handling COVID-19, donated five positive pressure swab booths to protect medical personnel from potential virus infection. This swab booth is an innovative SCG solution that uses a pressure generator to allow the air inside the room to remain clean and sterile when medical personnel examines or take patient samples. This donation was submitted together with the assistance from SCG Indonesia to the National Disaster Management Agency on 10 June 2020 to be distributed to various hospitals.
The corona virus has been declared by WHO as a global pandemic and non-natural disasters in the form of disease outbreaks, so efforts must be taken to prevent cases from increasing.

The assistance was delivered together with the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ir. H. Ahmad Riza Patria, M.B.A., and Head of DKI Jakarta Environment Agency Ir. H. Andono Warih, M.Sc.
This assistance was provided as a form of appreciation to the orange forces who continue their duties amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This donation is expected to help their daily needs.
As a growth partner for the government, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk is committed to supporting adequate facilities and infrastructure to implement Clean and Healthy Behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. On 20 May 2020, Chandra Asri and PT Penguin Indonesia donated 50 water tanks to the Cilegon City Government. The donation was also distributed to Government agencies at the sub-district and urban village levels, the Police Department, as well as several places of worship and schools in Cilegon. Through this donation, community discipline in maintaining personal hygiene is expected to be realized, so that the spread of COVID-19 could be reduced.
PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk signed a term loan facility agreement worth US $ 70 million from PermataBank. The credit agreement was signed by Lambas Marasi Tua LG Division Head of Corporate Banking PermataBank and two Directors from Chandra Asri, Andre Khor and Suryandi, witnessed by Darwin Wibowo, Wholesale Banking Director PermataBank.

On 11 May 2020, Chandra Asri together with Ikatan Pemulung Indonesia (IPI) donated thousands of food packages to the scavengers in the Jakarta metropolitan area. The donations were distributed to scavengers in the Rawasari area of Central Jakarta, Rawamangun area of East Jakarta, Pinang Ranti, and Rawa Badung Cakung. This support was given to help scavengers directly affected income reduction during the pandemic.
Scavengers are an informal sector that is important in the plastics recycling chain. Therefore, Chandra Asri always supports IPI to continuously increase the level of plastic recycling and reduce unmanaged plastic waste.
On 4 May 2020, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk distributed rice packages to 1100 families in several villages in the Anyer district and Task Force of COVID-19 in Gunung Sugih, Ciwandan sub-district. As an effort to empower local farmers, Chandra Asri donated Jaseng rice, which is a harvest from local farmers in Serang.
In addition to donations in the form of rice packages, Chandra Asri also distributed masks to the community as a preventive measure to slow the rate of transmission of COVID--19 in Cilegon and Serang. Hopefully this assistance can ease the burden on communities whose economic conditions are affected by this pandemic situation.
As a growth partner, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk committed to supporting the communities around the company in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in the holy month of Ramadan. On 24 April 2020, Chandra Asri together with Barito Pacific Group, Star Energy, and Yayasan Bakti Barito donated thousands of food packages to the community around Wisma Barito Pacific, Jakarta. This support was intended to help the community around the office area, especially at Slipi. This food package donation can fulfill the community’s basic needs for three to four weeks.
Chandra Asri in collaboration with Mpoin donated 135 water tanks to Central Java in mid-April. This collaboration was created because of the important role of plastic water tanks that are durable, sturdy, and can protect from germs, bacteria, also viruses.
This water tank made from Chandra Asri's Polyethylene raw material and processed into a water tank by Mpoin. It will be used as a handwashing facility in schools by the city and district governments in Central Java. This is to maintain the hygiene of the students in order to remain hygienic so as to avoid transmission of COVID-19. Because it contains antimicrobial ingredients, this water tank can protect water quality from bacteria or germs.
This collaboration is a support from two companies to assist local governments in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
Amid a pandemic of COVID-19 in Indonesia, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk is committed to supporting hospitals in the supply of medical equipment. Chandra Asri in collaboration with Sulfindo Adiusaha distributed thousands of medical equipment such as rapid test equipment, protective clothing, masks and gloves to several hospitals in Banten and Jakarta. The distribution of medical equipment began on 9 April 2020, and gradually.
This medical equipment support was handed over to seven hospitals in Banten, namely Krakatau Medika Hospital Cilegon, Banten Provincial Hospital, Serang District Hospital, Cilegon City Hospital, Tangerang City Hospital, Tangerang Provincial Hospital, and Balaraja Hospital. Medical equipment was also distributed to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta.
The distribution of medical equipment in Cilegon, Serang, Tangerang, and Jakarta is a support for the handling of COVID-19 with the total amount of Rp40 billion from Prajogo Pangestu, as the Founder of Chandra Asri and Barito Pacific Group.
As a part of support in increasing literacy starting at an early age, Chandra Asri through the Literacy Corner Program donated books and bookshelves to seven schools located in the area around the company's operations, consisting of 4 PAUD and 3 Elementary Schools. Three PAUD are partner schools which previously received class rebuilding assistance along with school facilities. A total of 499 books were donated for this program and 43 of them were the result of employee donations in the Year End Giving 2019 program last December.
On 12 February 2020, Chandra Asri through its subsidiary, PT Styrindo Mono Indonesia, in collaboration with the Happy Hearts Indonesia Foundation, inaugurated PAUD Al-Hikmah building.
Located in Margasari Village, Puloampel District, Serang Regency, PAUD Al-Hikmah is one of many inadequate PAUD in Serang. After going through the rebuilding process for approximately four months, now PAUD Al-Hikmah has stood firm with a decent and comfortable building for teaching and learning activities.
Early in 2020, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, on 5 February, at Wisma Barito Pacific, Jakarta. The meeting was led by Mr. Djoko Suyanto, as President Commissioner, and was attended by the Board of Commissioners and Directors Chandra Asri.
The majority of shareholders approved Chandra Asri's plan to increase capital by giving Pre-emptive Rights to the Company's shareholders through the Limited Public Offering III mechanism.
In addition, the meeting also approved the amendment to the provisions of Article 4 paragraph (2) of the Company's articles of association regarding the Company's issued and paid-up capital, in connection with the realization of the additional capital by giving HMETD to shareholders through the mechanism of Limited Public Offering III.
This year began with a proud achievement from PT Styrindo Mono Indonesia (SMI), a subsidiary of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk. On 8 January 2020, SMI received the Green category award in the Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management (PROPER). The award was handed-over by Ibu Siti Nurbaya, Minister of Environment and Forestry Republic of Indonesia. This award is a Green category for the third time. This achievement is certainly proof of the company's commitment in managing the environmental management system, energy and water efficiency, reducing the burden of wastewater, reducing emissions, protecting biodiversity, 3R of B3 waste and non-B3 solid waste, and implementing community empowerment programs (CSR).
Based on its commitment to become a growth partner for community around the company, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical provided aids for the flood victims in Banten Province which was directly received symbolically by the Governor of Banten Province, Mr. Wahidin Halim, on Sunday, 5 January 2020. The assistance for the flood victims comes in the form of 1,500 packages of sanitary kit (soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste) and 1,500 packages of baby kit (wet tissue, pampers and baby food), which will be distributed directly by the Banten Province government to the most affected areas, including Lebak District, Tangerang City, and South Tangerang.
This year, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk and its subsidiary, PT Styrindo Mono Indonesia (SMI), received Green Industry award 2019 again from the Ministry of Industry with level 5 award. The Green Industry Award is an award for industries that in the production process applyefficiency and effectiveness in the sustainable use of resources.Until now, SMI has received the highest award of level 5 Green Industry 5 times.Whereas Chandra Asri has been awarded the level 5 Green Industry award 3 times.
In its commitment to continue to be a growth partner for Indonesia, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk together with the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the new polyethylene (PE) plant on Friday, 6 December 2019. Located at the new PE plant location, Cilegon, the inauguration was also witnessed by the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita; the Minister of BUMN, Erick Thohir; and the Governor of Banten, Wahidin Halim.
This new PE plant provides an additional capacity of 400 thousand tons per year, bringing the total capacity to 736 thousand tons per year. Chandra Asri’s effort in capacity building is intended to take part in suppressing the import of petrochemical materials and support the national economy.
On 27 November 2019, Chandra Asri received an award in CSR Citra Award 2019 at Cilegon City, held by the Regional Government of the Social Service City of Cilegon in collaboration with Cilegon Corporate Social Responsibility (CCSR). CSR Citra Award is an award to business company in Cilegon who have carried out their social responsibilities to the community. CSR programs carried out have an impact on improving the standard of living of the community, both in terms of economic, education, health, environmental, socio-cultural sustainability, and sports.

Located at InterContinental Hotel, Pondok Indah, Jakarta, this award was dedicated to appreciating the Human Resources Industry and was attended by HR practitioners from various companies and industries in Indonesia.
From five categories participated, CAP won in three categories, namely silver award for the Excellence in Leadership Development category, gold award for the Excellence in Team Collaboration category, and HR Leader of the Year for the individual category on behalf of Lenny Woen, HR Strategy & Management General Manager.
